Our client is a digital marketing agency specializing in Performance Lead Generation through Google Ads and SEO. With over 50 years of combined experience, they help small businesses grow with impactful performance-based marketing strategies.

Job Overview

As an SEO Manager, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment where your ability to create SEO marketing plans for local services businesses by leading a team of 2 other people. Your role will include writing SEO-friendly content, which will be critical in improving our clients’ search engine rankings. You will create, direct, and implement the SEO strategy with our SEO team.  You will not only be leading the team, but also your duties will be to craft compelling blog posts and articles that align with our business goals and industry trends.

Responsibilities

● Come up with detailed SEO strategies for each client based on what they pay for SEO– your strategy needs to include both backlinks and what content writing we need for the core pages, city pages, and blog content.

● Lead the team on best practices for audits and on-page technical 

● Efficiently manage multiple SEO projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional results for clients.

● Provided customer-facing interactions with client calls when needed, presenting strategies and updates in a professional manner.

● Meet fast-paced turnaround times for blog and article creation (under 1 hour for writing, optimization, and posting on WordPress)

● Collaborate with internal team members to ensure high-quality standards and successful project execution.

● Create high-quality, SEO-optimized content to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings

● Conduct keyword research and effectively incorporate relevant keywords into content

● Use WordPress to publish and manage blog content efficiently

● Continuously optimize existing content to improve search engine performance

● Stay current with the latest SEO trends and best practices to remain competitive

● Collaborate with the SEO team to develop and execute effective content strategies

● Analyze content performance metrics and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement

● Handle blog writing, keyword research for optimization, and posting on WordPress websites

● Ensure excellent research, proactive communication, and ability to manage large workloads

Requirements

● 2+ years of experience in leading an SEO team and directing the strategy in a USA agency role

● 5+ years of experience in SEO

● 2+ years of experience in SEO content writing or a similar role

● Resourceful, assertive, great leader

● Advanced English level (C1/C2)

● Proven success in creating search engine-friendly content that ranks well

● Exceptional English writing and editing skills with a detail-oriented approach

● Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to implement them effectively

● Proficiency in WordPress and basic knowledge of HTML

● Familiarity with keyword research tools and Google Analytics

● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects

● Strong proofreading and editing abilities with attention to detail

● Analytical mindset to interpret data and refine content strategies

● Creativity in developing engaging and relevant blog topics

● Flexibility to adapt to evolving SEO trends and algorithm updates

● Excellent time management skills to consistently meet tight deadlines

● Experience writing for home services industries is a plus. (Example: Pressure Washing, Window Cleaning, Deck Builders, Landscapers, etc.)

Benefits

●   Salary range: $2,500-$3,000

●    Bonuses: Bi-annual bonuses up to 10% of annual salary.
