This role is responsible for managing all aspects of accounting and financial reporting related to all our debt instruments. Key duties include overseeing and leading the month-end close processes specific to debt-related transactions and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

The position requires collaboration with various key internal teams, including the Capital Markets team, Internal Legal team, Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), External Auditors, and our internal SOX compliance team. Additionally, the role will provide support to the SEC reporting team during the quarterly and annual earnings cycles, ensuring that reporting templates related to debt are submitted timely.

The candidate will also have occasional opportunities to engage with the Finance Senior Leadership, providing insights and updates on matters related to our debt instruments. This role demands attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the month end close process related to debt and securitization related transactions.
  • Responsible for the review and approval of journal entries for purposes of closing the books each.
  • Responsible for the timely preparation, reconciliation and review of all balance sheet accounts related debt on our general ledger.
  • Manage the preparation and review of all debt schedules for required for both internal and external (SEC) reporting.
  • Prepare month-over-month flux analysis of Actuals versus Plan and provide written explanation of significant variances.
  • Prepare and review debt related schedules as needed for audit and SOX.
  • Oversee process improvements through automation and implement enhancements.
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting/finance projects as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of two years of general accounting experience.
  • Four-year bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, etc.).
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Extreme attention to details.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions and work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work well and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to change.
  • Time & schedule flexibility.
  • Big four public accounting experience preferred.
  • Certified public accountant (CPA) preferred.

 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $ 88,300 - $ 141,300.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects a national minimum and maximum range for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
