Our Sales team at Vultr is looking for a Sales Manager who will report into the VP of Sales and be responsible for team leadership and revenue performance, with a focus on Cloud & AI infrastructure. You will need a strong understanding and involvement within the Cloud & AI community. You know where Cloud & AI founders & developers go to find solutions to their problems, you understand the tools they use and the groups they belong to. We are looking for someone who is excited about the opportunity to lead a team of Account Executives and be the face of Cloud & AI infrastructure for our prospects and customers. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives specializing in CPU and GPU cloud solutions.
    • Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks to ensure individual and team success. Coach the team on sales process and methodology (MEDDICC).
    • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused culture within the team.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate target segments, including SMBs, mid-market, and Enterprise companies.
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Solution Engineering, and Channel Partners to drive leads, build pipeline, and close deals
    • Identify growth opportunities in strategic industries, such as AI/ML, Software, Healthcare, Finance, and Telecom.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationships:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects.
    • Understand customer needs, advocate Vultr’s value proposition, and position solutions to address customer challenges.
    • Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
  • Market & Industry Expertise:
    • Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies (e.g., NVIDIA Blackwell, AMD MI300X, etc.), and the competitive landscape.
    • Translate industry insights into actionable strategies for the team.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
    • Partner with the Product, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer solutions.
    • Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably in cloud computing, AI/ML, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing teams with measurable success.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, with expertise in CPU and GPU use cases like GenAI, HPC, and traditional workloads.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with SMBs, mid-market, and enterprise customers across multiple regions (e.g., North America, APAC, Europe).

Compensation

$125,000 - $150,000 plus commission

This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
