Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cylinder Sales Market Analyst to play a pivotal role in the transformation of our cylinder business. This role will be instrumental in driving data driven commercial initiatives and leading process improvement projects to enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a customer centric mindset, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Profitability Analysis:
- Analyse customer profitability data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with finance and the sales team to identify and address underperforming territories and capitalise on profitable opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to optimise pricing strategies and customer portfolio performance.
- Conduct a deep dive into simplifying and streamlining the P Form process by understanding the root causes and identifying more efficient ways to manage customer subsidies and credits.
Continuous Improvement Projects:
- Lead and drive the implementation of CI initiatives in the Cylinder Transformation to streamline workflows and enhance Cylinder Sales.
- Collaborate effectively with Cylinder Transformation CI Leads and stakeholders to increase the level of insights and transparency to enable data-based decision-making.
- Identify areas for digitalisation in the customer journey to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Market and Customer Data Analysis:
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer data to identify growth opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven strategies that increase market share.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on the success of initiatives.
KPI and Performance Control System (PCS) Reporting and Management:
- Play a key role in managing the KPI reporting and Performance Control System (PCS) of the Cylinder Transformation Team.
- Ensure alignment of performance metrics with strategic business objectives.
- Schedule and lead weekly / monthly review meetings on performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive accountability.
Field Engagement:
- Spend time in the field with the sales team and customers to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure alignment on business objectives.
- Translate field insights into actionable recommendations for the sales and Cylinder Transformation team.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key driver of process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Communicate effectively with sales, finance, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to foster collaboration.
Requirements
Person Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics or a related field would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Proven experience in sales, operations, continuous improvement, or a similar role within a dynamic business environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. • Strong project financial and project management skills with a track record of leading successful initiatives.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and CRM systems. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving transformation and innovation.

- Willingness to travel and spend time in the field with sales teams and customers.
