The Area After Sales Manager implements the regional After Sales strategy in the respective European market/region which is critical to the establishment of the Grenadier’s credibility in the respective market and is working cross-functionally with the wider After Sales team.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Setup, manage and monitor regional partner workshops & stakeholders e.g. ensure contractual setups with local partner workshops & roadside assistance partners are operating in line with KPI’s and agreed SLA’s.
- After Sales customer interface e.g. actively interact and manage After Sales business relationship with VIP and fleet customer in close collaboration with Regional After Sales manager for minimized downtime and to ensure a best in class experience.
- Safeguard regional parts availability e.g. understand parts lead times and constantly monitor partner workshops orders and ensure stock availability of fast-moving parts in order to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Training and process improvement e.g. execute Grenadier training blueprint locally (with parts, service and warranty-focused approach), enabling the partner network to deliver best-in-class service. Continuously improve regional service strategy by e.g. reiterating training strategy pro-actively.
- Identification of wider product issues and contingency plan roll-out in close collaboration with the technical support manager, identify product issues in the region/market, report them to management and actively engage in rolling out contingency plans.
- Monitor regional financial target achievement e.g. conduct financial performance analysis for regional partners based on After Sales Europe KPI setup and continuously report on target achievement and projections to partners externally and management internally.
- Budget spending e.g. maintain oversight over regional warranty spending and continuously align with Senior Manager After Sales on actuals and projections.
What we are looking for:
- Strong educational background and proficient (10 years plus) regional parts & service network experience with proven involvement in OEM/IAM After Sales activities. Ideally, managed service partners/parts suppliers regionally and executed After Sales strategic initiatives in the field.
- Up-to-date vehicle knowledge with the ability to understand technical failures and root causes.
- Commercial and aftersales acumen and articulate with strong communication and relationship building skills in the Workshop/Service network environment.
- Analytical skills with a background in measuring and improving After Sales partners on a KPI-driven basis is a plus.
- Relationship building and confident in communicating with & managing partners.
- “Can do” attitude and driven to succeed. Customer – centric mind-set.
- Good command of English and market-relevant (GERMAN, FRENCH, SPANISCH, ITALIAN) language is essential.
