Job Summary: 

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Product to lead the strategy and innovation for our Branch Operations, encompassing 190 branch locations across the U.S. and supporting the sale of over 2 million vehicles annually. This role is critical to maintaining and enhancing operational excellence, ensuring high performance, and identifying areas for improvement to optimize timelines, labor costs, and efficiency. The Director of Product will oversee product enhancements and innovations, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to maintain our competitive advantage and deliver value across a diverse user base.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute a strategic product roadmap focused on enhancing operational excellence and streamlining physical goods operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to implement product solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.

  • Drive innovation through technology, such as leveraging large language models (LLMs) for faster expense entry and AI-powered tools for vehicle check-in and damage assessment based on images.

  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, empowering them to execute on strategic goals while fostering collaboration and innovation.

  • Engage with a diverse user base, including dispatchers, tow operators, yard attendants, branch managers, and agents, to understand their needs and challenges.

  • Continuously identify and address weaknesses in current processes, ensuring product improvements drive measurable outcomes and maintain the organization’s lead in the market.

  • Build and evolve the product function, driving team and organizational transformation to align with strategic vision.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of product management experience, with a proven track record in operational or process-oriented environments such as logistics, supply chain, or physical goods operations.

  • Experience leading teams and driving product vision in a collaborative environment.

  • Strong understanding of mobile-first, product-led experiences and their application to handheld devices and field operations.

  • Demonstrated success in working with engineering and operations teams to deliver impactful solutions.

  • Familiarity with leveraging technology for operational improvements, including AI and machine learning applications.

  • Exceptional ability to manage and prioritize across a wide-ranging user base and operational needs.

  • Strong product mindset with the ability to develop and articulate a clear vision that aligns with business objectives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of AI and LLM applications in operational settings.

  • A user-centric approach to product development, with a focus on improving field operations and internal efficiencies.

  • Proven ability to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high performance.
