Intetics Inc., a global technology company providing custom software application development, distributed professional teams, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Our Client is a market participant in the North American wholesale power markets. The company engages in virtual transactions (VTs), participates in Financial Transmission Rights (FTRs) and Congestion Revenue Rights (CRRs) auctions, and is involved in related energy trading of electric power and natural gas futures, as well as exchange-traded derivatives. Their team develops and executes strategies across various Independent System Operator (ISO) markets, including CAISO, ERCOT, MISO, NYISO, PJM, and SPP, and trades on exchanges such as ICE and CME. The company offers exposure to unique investment opportunities that provide an exceptional combination of returns and portfolio diversification.

​As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the software solutions used to analyze energy markets, develop and execute trade strategies, and support the firm in various business functions.

In this position you will contribute to:

  • tools for trade support
  • reports for performance monitoring
  • systems for back-office operations
  • systems for middle-office operations
  • other software systems developed in-house for customer's needs.

Requirements

  • ​7+ years of experience in professional software development
  • 5+ years of programming experience in C#/.NET
  • Experience with MS SQL Server: developing T-SQL stored procedures and user defined functions, understanding of the SQL query processor, significant experience with T-SQL query optimization, and database logical design and physical design
  • Experience programming MS Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills. Upper-Intermediate English
