Our client is an innovative and rapidly growing startup in the beauty industry, specializing in premium quality press-on nails and magnetic lashes.
Responsibilities:
Under direction of the Sr. Graphic Designer, complete assigned tasks for design efforts across, but not limited to, email, website banners, social media design, and retail displays
Join team meetings or calls surrounding design efforts
Complete requested edits & reviews in a timely manner
Coordinate with Marketing, Web, and Retail teams to scope out and clarify assigned tasks
Photo retouching and color correcting images
Brainstorm creative concepts and present new ideas
Requirements
4+ years of graphic design experience
Experience working with / for omnichannel (at least retail + e-commerce) beauty brands
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Experience working with Marketing & Retail teams
Strong communication skills & willingness to ask core clarifying questions
Experience working with project management tools such as Asana or ClickUp
Experience designing emails for platforms such as Klaviyo
Experience working with social team to create engaging and trend driven graphics
Attention to detail
Familiarity with core beauty design principles
Strong knowledge of the print process and preparing files for print
Strong eye for design and ability to convey the brand aesthetic through compelling, innovative concepts
Photo retouching and color correcting images
Multitasking/Flexibility to switch between projects or pivot quickly if requirements change
Nice to have:
Experience designing retail media for beauty brands, ideally in Ulta and/or Sephora
