Idhammar Systems is a leading provider of software solutions for the manufacturing industry. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing  and selling to both existing and new customers. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our solutions. This is a remote role, with travel throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs.
  • Promote and sell new products and features to existing customers to increase revenue.
  • Generate and develop a pipeline of new business through pro-active lead generation.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and execute strategic plans for maximizing the value of Idhammar’s solutions and achieving their business goals.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement and revenue growth.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues impacting client success, working cross-functionally to address and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Advocate for clients internally, representing their needs and priorities to product development, sales, and support teams.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and customer health scores, identifying trends and opportunities for intervention.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales, customer success or account management role. Experience within manufacturing, software or industrial hardware is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven track record of attaining new business and revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex customer environments.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product development, and support teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Jira) and other relevant tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
