Social Media Manager 10 Hours per Week (IC-GD)

Job Description

We are in the process of staffing a Virtual Assistant where a client needs someone to handle the following responsibilities. If you are interested, please complete the Virtual Assistant application. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbox
    • Check inbox daily
    • Organize emails to appropriate folders
    • Send follow up emails to customers
    • Prioritize emails
  • Manage WordPress website
    • Respond to comments and check that plugins are up to date
  • Write blog posts for recipes on WordPress keeping in mind proper format and optimizing SEO
  • Login to MediaVine Dashboard and ensure ads are running properly
  • Export new subscribers into FloDesk
  • Create newsletters in FloDesk using Canva
  • Login to Shopify to check that orders are coming through and follow up with pending customer complaints
  • Ensure all recipes on website are saved in Google Drive
  • Assist with holiday giveaways, creating sellable ebooks, virtual cooking classes, etc.
  • Assist with various other projects / tasks

Requirements

  • Experience in Canva (a must)
  • Experience in WordPress (a must)
  • Experience with newsletters (a plus) 
  • Eager and willing to learn 
  • Detail oriented
  • Intuitively organized
  • Self-starter 
  • 10 hours per week (availability to grow as role grows)
  • Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern Time Zone
