Job Description

Outsourcing Advantage is a boutique business process outsourcing provider specializing in back-office and customer support services for US-based companies. We are seeking an experienced Revit Modeler / Drafter to support architectural and construction projects through accurate and efficient BIM modeling and drafting.

The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Autodesk Revit, has strong attention to detail, and can work independently while meeting deadlines and project requirements. The successful candidate should be able to quickly understand drawings, markups, and project requirements and efficiently translate them into accurate Revit models and construction documentation.

This position is ideal for a self-sufficient, organized, and proactive professional who can work with minimal supervision while maintaining both speed and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain accurate 2D and 3D models using Autodesk Revit.
• Develop architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documentation.
• Review drawings, markups, and project specifications and translate them into accurate Revit models.
• Make revisions and updates to existing Revit models based on project requirements and client feedback.
• Ensure models and drawings meet project standards, specifications, and deadlines.
• Work efficiently to complete assigned modeling and drafting tasks within required timeframes.
• Coordinate model information and drawings to minimize errors and inconsistencies.
• Identify potential issues or discrepancies in drawings and models and communicate them proactively.
• Organize and maintain Revit files, views, sheets, families, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and other team members as needed.
• Manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks according to project deadlines.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy while maintaining an efficient workflow.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned projects.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Revit modeling and drafting.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience producing architectural drawings and construction documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations.
• Strong understanding of BIM modeling principles and Revit workflows.
• Ability to work efficiently and consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail without sacrificing productivity.
• Ability to quickly understand project requirements and implement revisions accurately.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working with US-based architectural, construction, or engineering projects is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience working on architectural, construction, or engineering projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD in addition to Revit.
• A portfolio or examples of previous Revit modeling and drafting work.
• Experience working with BIM standards and project-specific modeling requirements.
• The ability to quickly understand unfamiliar drawings, models, and project requirements.
• A proven ability to complete modeling and drafting assignments efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
