Job Description







Software Product Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of the company's product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to prioritize features and enhancements that drive value.
  • Partner with the VP, Customer Success and Operations, to ensure operational readiness for product launches.
  • Work closely with customers to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and  pain points.


  • Market Research Responsibilities:
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and anticipate market shifts.
  • Establish feedback loops with the VP, Operations and Customer Success, to align product strategy with customer insights and market performance.


  • Leadership and Team Development Responsibilities:
  • Inspire and mentor the product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear objectives and performance metrics, regularly evaluating progress to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Advocate for cross-functional alignment and encourage a unified approach to achieving product and business goals.


  • Business Development (Dealer Ecosystem) Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with equipment dealers to accelerate growth and market penetration.
  • Represent the company at industry events, forums, and conferences to build relationships with potential customers and manufacturers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with dealer peer groups, industry associations, and government agencies to expand the company’s influence in the agriculture industry.
  • Support dealer onboarding and engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with product goals and customer needs.


  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in software product leadership, ideally within the agriculture equipment industry.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and hustle, with a passion for driving innovation and creating positive change in the agriculture industry.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural software, market dynamics, and the needs of equipment manufacturers and dealers.
  • Established relationships within the agricultural equipment dealer network and associated industry groups.
  • Natural aptitude for identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and grow high-performing teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, partners, and the team.
  • If working remotely, the ability to travel to Calgary at least every two months to collaborate with the product and engineering teams.
