Job Description:

We are seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing team and elevate our email marketing efforts. This is a pivotal role in building and optimizing email campaigns to engage our audience, drive conversions, and deliver measurable results. You will collaborate with existing team members and may also benefit from mentorship or guidance from our current consultant, who has been managing email marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and execute email campaigns that align with our marketing goals, including customer engagement, lead generation, and retention.
  • Create high-quality email content, including copywriting, design, and layout.
  • Utilize email marketing tools and platforms to set up, test, and launch campaigns.
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize subject lines, content, layouts, and CTAs for improved performance.
  • Perform audience segmentation, personalization, and list management, ensuring clean and organized contact lists.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and provide actionable insights for optimization.
  • Utilize reporting in Klaviyo to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
  • Replicate successful email campaigns using provided samples and guidelines while innovating to improve results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure campaign alignment with broader marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated on email marketing trends, tools, and best practices to recommend innovative strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in email marketing, including campaign design, copywriting, and technical setup.
  • Proficiency with email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot) and CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing, audience segmentation, and personalization strategies.
  • Solid graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of email compliance laws and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team and consultants when needed.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience utilizing reporting features in Klaviyo to optimize campaign performance.
  • Experience in eCommerce or a similar industry.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and integration with platforms like Shopify.
