Job Description

As a Senior Engineer in the auth team, you will design, build and deploy robust, secure and scalable auth & identity solutions that protect the Kpler platform and its users, support Kpler’s continual growth and ensure compliance across the organization. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build and deploy robust, secure and scalable auth & identity solutions
  • Maintain existing auth systems
  • Act as a technical authority in the auth & identity domain
  • Mentor and coach others in the team
  • Own the development and deployment of solutions from end to end
  • Ensure the output of the team is delivered to a high standard and meets the engineering organisations’ quality goals

  • Experience & Background

    Essential: 

  • 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience

  • Experience with CIAM platforms, such as Auth0, Entra ID etc.

  • Strong grasp of authentication and authorisation concepts and standards, such as OAuth2 and OIDC

  • TypeScript

  • SQL

  • Containerisation (e.g. Docker)

  • DevOps - CI / CD

  • Strong command of written and spoken English

  •  

    Desirable:

  • Experience with Cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure or GCP)

  • Terraform

  • Github Actions

  • Python

  • PHP


  • Qualifications
  • BSc/MSc in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent required
