We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Los Angeles office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
- Proactively identify and resolve potential system issues before they impact operations
- Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of new user accounts and access permissions
- Manage and maintain backups and disaster recovery systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry developments to make recommendations for system improvements
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technology solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Working knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
