As a Senior Information Systems Project Manager you will be the driving force behind new Information Systems initiatives. You will work with business operations teams, end-users, and technical experts on a range of IT and IS projects. You will need to research the topic, organise, coordinate, and run the implementation of systems and tools. In this role we need you to ensure they are not just delivered on-time and with high-quality, but are also optimised to deliver the company’s holistic business goals through your understanding of the subject and challenging assumptions.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Ownership
Whatever project you’re working on, you own the result, as autonomously as possible
If the scope isn’t well-defined at the start, you would need to research to define it
If the direction isn’t going where you think it should, you would need to correct it
If something isn’t getting done, you might need to do it yourself
2. Project Management Expertise
The basis of the job is Project Management, so this needs to be easy for you
Making a plan, setting and running meetings, documenting progress and issues, and reporting to management are all daily activities
You’ll need to be structured where the teams need it, flexible when that’s what they need, and probably shifting between Agile and Waterfall depending on the phase of the project
3. Analysis and Challenge
You’ll probably start many projects not knowing the subject-matter, so you’ll have to ask questions and do your own research
With your new-found knowledge (and previous experiences) we expect you to ask questions, and challenge assumptions
By the end of the project, anyone should be able to ask you a question about it and you can provide a quick answer without notes
4. Cross-Functional Partner
We are part of the Information Systems Department (ISD), and we exist to make life easier for the rest of the department so they can focus on delivering the best technical work
We have many business stakeholders and executive sponsors we work with regularly who need to be kept informed, have a voice, receive the best results, and maintain a good relationship with

Why This Role is Critical As Contentsquare continues to grow and become more efficient we continually need to assess the suitability of our systems and tools, and where appropriate modify or replace them.
