System Administrator

Job Description

We are a leading provider of energy solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our computer systems and servers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and configure software and hardware systems, including servers, networks, and operating systems

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups and system updates

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights

- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing and maintaining appropriate backup and disaster recovery procedures

- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to identify and resolve technical problems

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve system performance and efficiency

- Document and maintain system configurations and procedures

- Train and support end-users on system functionality and best practices

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V

- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols

- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery procedures

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Server+, etc.) are a plus.
