Job Title: Full-Stack Developer (AI-First)

Location: Remote (Open to:Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Romania)

Schedule: Monday - Friday. 9AM - 5PM EST - Full-Time (Flexible)

Salary Range: $1,800 – $3,500 USD per month ($11 – $22 USD/hour)

An AI-powered veterinary care ecosystem designed to serve 20,000+ clinics across 100+ countries. Powered by Marcia, a proprietary AI platform, it operates across six integrated portals and supports millions of users with tens of millions of concurrent sessions.

This is not a traditional engineering role. It is an AI-first environment where developers are expected to fully embrace agentic workflows, automation, and AI-assisted development to move faster and build smarter at scale.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer who is not only technically strong but deeply experienced in AI-assisted development workflows. You will play a critical role in building and scaling a high-performance, globally distributed platform.

You should be comfortable working with tools like Claude Code and Cursor, orchestrating sub-agents, and leveraging AI across the development lifecycle. This role requires someone who can think in systems, optimize performance, and build infrastructure that scales seamlessly under heavy load.

Responsibilities

AI-Assisted Development

Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) as primary development environments
Design and orchestrate agentic workflows and sub-agents
Use AI to accelerate development, testing, and debugging

Full-Stack Development

Build and maintain scalable frontend and backend systems
Develop across multiple portals (Consumer, Clinic, Enterprise, Platform, Referral, Admin)
Ensure clean, maintainable, and high-quality code

Performance & Scalability

Optimize database queries and system performance
Design and manage caching layers and connection pools
Build systems capable of handling millions of concurrent users

Code Quality & Security

Ensure all code passes automated review pipelines (5+ bots) before human review
Meet SonarCloud quality gates on first push
Maintain strict security best practices and hygiene

System Design

Architect distributed systems for global scale
Ensure reliability, fault tolerance, and high availability
Collaborate on infrastructure and backend architecture decisions

Requirements

Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer in high-scale environments
Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and workflows
Deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and system design
Experience optimizing databases, APIs, and distributed systems
Strong knowledge of caching strategies and concurrency handling
Ability to pass strict automated code quality and security standards
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance engineering culture
Strong communication skills in English

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with agent-based or autonomous development systems
Familiarity with large-scale SaaS or platform ecosystems
Experience working with global, distributed systems
Background in high-traffic applications or real-time systems
