Role Overview:

We are seeking a Web Developer with a strong focus on Shopify Plus to join our small, high-ownership E-commerce team.

You’ll work closely with our Senior Developer and Director of Digital Product & E-commerce—contributing to the technical direction of the website, shipping new features, and helping us build an international site experience that reflects the same level of intention we bring to our products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on development and maintenance of the site and backend systems
• Translate Figma design specifications into performant, maintainable, and ADA-compliant code
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms including email marketing, analytics, and other MarTech tooling
• Research, develop, and test new features, integrations, and technologies in collaboration with the Senior Developer
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making and site architecture
• Communicate clearly with key stakeholders on project status and priorities

Requirements

• 1–3 years experience working at an E-commerce business on Shopify Plus or similar platform
• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and core web APIs
• Experience with Shopify theme development, Liquid, and Shopify CLI
• Proficiency with SCSS and modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, npm)
• Ability to translate Figma design specifications into high-fidelity, performant front-end code
• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub including branching workflows and code review
• Experience with custom Shopify apps, extensions, and functions
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with MarTech integrations such as Klaviyo or similar platforms
• Comfortable consuming GraphQL and REST APIs
• Strong creative problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices including CVR optimization, A/B testing, and UX design
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with latest trends in web development and ecommerce
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate workflows and improve code quality

• Experience with React
• Experience with at least one server-side language (Ruby, Node, etc.)
