About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Admin to join our People team on a fixed term contract. This role will serve as the first point of contact for employee support through our Jira ticketing system, ensuring timely responses and accurate recordkeeping. You will play a critical role in supporting the employee lifecycle — from onboarding new hires to coordinating offboarding processes — while maintaining compliance and data accuracy across our HR systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their operational experience in HR operations within a fast-paced, global environment, where tech oriented solutions are the default.

What You Will Do
  • Jira Ticket Management: Monitor the People Team Jira queue daily, triaging, categorizing, and resolving employee inquiries, escalating when necessary.

  • Onboarding Coordination: Schedule onboarding sessions, initiate background checks, distribute contracts, and support new hire profile setup in Workday, Deel, and ADP.

  • Building processes and SOPs: Everyone here at MoonPay needs to think with a business operations mindset. You’ll be assessing our employee facing processes and looking at how we can make them scalable

  • AI optimisation: Using Claude, Gemini enterprise and ChatGPT, envision and plan ways of reducing manual effort to deal with employee tickets

  • Offboarding Administration: Process offboarding requests, ensuring documentation is completed and filed accurately.

  • Payroll support: Create and review monthly reports to inform our payroll manager around any changes across all payroll systems.

  • Data Management & Compliance: Maintain accuracy of employee records across HR systems while adhering to privacy and confidentiality protocols.

  • Knowledge Base Contribution: Identify recurring issues and document solutions to continuously improve processes and employee self-service resources.

  • About You
  • 3-6 years of experience in HR administration, People Operations, or a similar support role.

  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to data management.

  • Comfortable working with HR systems such as Workday, ADP, or Jira (experience with multiple systems a plus).

  • Ability to build and test robust processes

  • Ability to use AI to augment workflows, automate processes and analyse data

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
