Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the execution of our custom mausoleum projects from proposal through installation. This is a part-time, remote position with a flexible schedule, ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-trust, high-responsibility environment and is comfortable working with discerning clients and their representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedules between cemeteries, suppliers, designers, and installation teams
  • Manage client communication with professionalism and discretion
  • Ensure installations are properly timed and avoid conflicts with ongoing cemetery services
  • Coordinate site logistics, including crane access, road access, and contractor alignment
  • Support proposal development and coordination with designers and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed project tracking and reporting for each active project
  • Identify risks early and proactively resolve scheduling or logistical issues
  • Assist with broader organizational and administrative needs as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
  • Experience supporting proposal development or client-facing deliverables
  • Background working on high-end or custom construction projects

Reporting & Accountability

  • Maintain detailed time tracking
  • Provide clear, organized project reports by project
  • Deliver concise monthly summaries outlining project status, upcoming milestones, and risks

Requirements

  • Based in the United States with availability during Central Time business hours
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in construction, logistics, or field-based projects
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Experience working with external vendors, contractors, and clients
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail) and Google Meet
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency and communication
  • Reliable high-speed internet, dedicated computer, and a quiet workspace suitable for video calls
