Full Stack Engineer

Location: San Francisco or Remote in the US

About the Role

We are hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to work directly with the co-founder on the core product. The immediate focus is building a voice AI that conducts multi-step technical interviews – pulling in a candidate's live work context and layering progressively harder questions based on what they have just done. This has not been built before and is an exciting problem to tackle.

Beyond that, you will work on identifying economically valuable engineering skills at scale and improving the predictive models that determine who is likely to succeed in a role.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the voice AI interview system end-to-end
• Develop the architecture for context-aware, adaptive questioning
• Integrate AI/LLM APIs into a production-grade, multi-step assessment flow
• Improve the predictive hiring models – accuracy, data pipelines, and feedback loops
• Build and maintain the full stack (React / Next.js, Node.js) in service of the above

0 - 4 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer owning complex 0-to-1 projects

Work experience

Experience building projects/features from 0-to-1 (inc.during internships)

Demonstrated track record of owning and driving forward high-impact projects

Prior start-up experience or demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit

Hard skills

Strong technical fundamentals and familiarity with most modern frameworks

Experience with JavaScript, AI/LLM integration, and system design / architecture
