Backend Developer (Java)

Kyivstar.Tech is looking for a Backend Developer to join our Product Development Team. The role has all the advantages of working in a product team — versatile projects, plenty of independence, a chance to influence the direction of development, and an opportunity to grow in the role.

Collaborate with the development team, Product Owner, and Engineering Manager in real and interesting product tasks
Selection and implementation of the necessary tools, technologies, and techniques
Designing and implementing the architecture of an application
Code review and code quality control over the formed standards of development
Writing efficient code

Spring: Core, MVC, Security, Boot (2+ years)
Microservices architecture understanding + understanding of Event Sourcing, CQRS, and DDD
Restful services (REST) dev experience (2+ years)
Persistence frameworks: Spring: Spring Data, Hibernate (2+ years)
Experience in branch-based workflow (git)
Messaging: ActiveMQ / JMS
Thorough understanding of RDBS: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and non-RDBMS like Cassandra
Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito
Experience with Docker containers in production (1+ year)
Strong understanding | usage of SOLID principles and software design patterns
Experience with continuous integration as is (principles, instruments)
