Contract QA Tester (6 months)

Job Description

We are looking for a contract QA Tester with specific experience in Financial Accounting to start ASAP on a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of financial software applications.

Required Experience:

• Test planning and execution
• Regression Testing
• System Analysis
• Financial Process Validation

Required Skills :

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a QA Tester role, with a significant focus on testing financial or accounting software.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles (e.g., double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in both manual and automated testing.

• Experience with test management software

• Familiarity with API testing tools.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).

• ISTQB or other relevant software testing certification.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, IFRS).
