[Job-28772] Senior iOS Developer, Brazil

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to act as a technical reference for two native mobile applications — one iOS and one Android — that form the core of our agricultural field-monitoring platform. Beyond feature delivery, you will support the team as an advisor on mobile architecture topics, help investigate critical bugs, and conduct performance profiling on both legacy codebases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Technical Reference — Be a go-to engineer for both the iOS and Android applications. 

-The iOS app is built in Swift (UIKit/SwiftUI, MVVM + Clean Architecture, Realm, Moya, gRPC, Coordinator pattern).

-The Android app follows the same architectural model in Kotlin (Room, DataStore, Retrofit, gRPC, Koin, WorkManager, Coroutines).

-Contribute to architectural evolution and help standardize patterns across both platforms.
-Advisory — Provide technical guidance to peers and product teams on architecture patterns, feasibility assessments, and implementation approaches.

-Participate in design reviews and technical planning sessions.
-Bug Investigation and Performance Profiling — Investigate critical bugs including crashes, memory leaks, ANRs, database corruption in Realm/Room, and offline sync failures.

-Profile performance using Instruments on iOS and Android Studio Profiler/Perfetto on Android. Help triage and prioritize technical debt.
-Mentorship and Standards — Conduct code reviews focused on quality and maintainability.

-Support junior and mid-level engineers. C

ontribute to engineering standards around linting, CI/CD (CircleCI, Fastlane, GitHub Actions), release management, and feature flagging (Rollout.io)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-5+ years in mobile development with solid experience in both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
-iOS: Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, Realm, Moya, gRPC, CocoaPods/SPM. Android: Kotlin, Jetpack libraries, Coroutines/Flow, Room, Retrofit, gRPC, Koin, WorkManager, Gradle.
-Solid understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, repository pattern, and modularization.

-Experience with performance profiling on at least one platform (Instruments, Android Profiler, Perfetto, LeakCanary).

-Debugging skills for complex bugs involving crash reports, offline sync, and database issues.

-Experience with CI/CD for mobile. Understanding of REST, gRPC/Protocol Buffers, and offline-first strategies.

-Good communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), SQLDelight, or shared module architecture.

-AgTech or field-data-collection apps with offline-heavy workflows.

-Geospatial data handling (Mapbox, MapKit, Google Maps SDK).

-App security (obfuscation, jailbreak detection, Keychain, OAuth 2.0/OIDC).

-Localization at scale. BDD-style testing (Quick/Nimble) or MockK/JUnit 4. SonarCloud, Datadog, or Sentry experience.
