QA Tester (Unity Mobile Game)

Job Description

We're looking for a QA Tester with Unity mobile game experience to help ensure smooth, high-quality gameplay experiences across our mobile football games. You will define, execute, and refine the testing process from hands-on manual testing through integration and regression testing across frontend and backend systems.

This role is ideal for someone who loves games, understands how to break and fix them, and wants to help shape the quality standards of a fast-moving game startup.

What You'll Work On

Test Planning and Execution

• Define and execute comprehensive test suites for new features, regression, and integration testing across Unity mobile and backend systems
• Build and maintain testing frameworks to ensure consistent and reproducible validation of new features and releases
• Support release readiness reviews and post-deployment validation across production and staging environments

Bug Reporting and Defect Management

• Clearly describe and log bugs including internal bug reports from playtesting and feedback sessions as well as reports coming from the community
• Monitor, report, and triage defects and provide detailed diagnostics to assist engineers in root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with engineers to identify test requirements and edge cases early in the development process

API, Backend, and Performance Validation

• Validate data flow, API reliability, and UI performance across multiple environments
• Test RESTful APIs using Postman, pytest, or Supertest
• Debug issues end to end alongside engineers and communicate findings clearly

What You Bring

• 3+ years of QA experience testing Unity mobile games spanning frontend and backend layers
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, manual testing practices, and automation best practices
• Proficiency working with and testing in the Unity Editor
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman, pytest, or Supertest
• Understanding of Git version control workflows
• Ability to debug issues end to end alongside engineers
• Excellent written communication skills for clear bug reporting and technical collaboration
• Genuine love for games

Nice to Have

• Mobile release management experience including app store submissions, versioning, updated descriptions, and marketing asset coordination
• Background in automation testing and proficiency in automated testing frameworks
• Experience integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines
