Job Description

About Us:

Zipliens is a leading lien resolution company that specializes in streamlining the lien process for personal injury law firms. We are looking for proactive, results-driven individuals to join our dynamic team.

We are hiring a Director of Marketing to build and execute our marketing efforts at Zipliens. This is our first dedicated marketing hire and a highly cross-functional role focused on strengthening how we engage clients, support new business growth, and show up in the market.

You will work closely across the business to translate priorities into clear messaging, campaigns, and marketing initiatives.

You will operate as a hands-on leader — identifying what needs to be done, bringing structure to how marketing operates, and executing against it. You’ll be responsible for building the foundation of our marketing function, using the right mix of tools, systems, and external support to scale impact over time.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Marketing Direction & Execution

  • Translate company priorities into clear marketing plans, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve client and prospect communications, and bring forward actionable recommendations
  • Operate as a hands-on individual contributor, executing across multiple marketing channels

Client & Growth Marketing

  • Partner closely with Client Success to drive client engagement, adoption, and retention
  • Support communications tied to product launches, portal updates, and service enhancements
  • Partner with Business Development to support pipeline generation through content, campaigns, and sales enablement materials

Events & Field Marketing

  • Own end-to-end marketing execution for industry conferences and field events
  • Develop pre- and post-event campaigns to maximize engagement and ROI
  • Manage logistics such as swag, materials, and vendor coordination

Brand & Communications

  • Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and positioning across all client-facing and internal materials
  • Translate complex product and service offerings into clear, compelling narratives for different audiences
  • Support internal communications and company-wide messaging as needed

Marketing Operations

  • Build and manage marketing workflows, calendars, and campaign tracking
  • Own marketing tools, automation, and CRM integrations
  • Leverage AI and systems to scale output and improve efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in a SaaS or professional services environment
  • Experience operating as a primary or sole marketing owner, or within a lean team in a scaling organization
  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify priorities, build plans, and execute without heavy direction
  • Experience partnering closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth outcomes
  • Proven track record of executing campaigns and initiatives tied to client engagement, pipeline generation, or revenue impact
  • Experience supporting conferences, events, or field marketing initiatives end-to-end
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in drafting client-facing or external messaging
  • Ability to operate with autonomy and build structure in ambiguous environments

Benefits

  • Comprehensive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision), including HSA with employer contributions, FSA, and Dependent Care FSA
  • Company-Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability
  • 401(k) Plan with Company Match
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Leave, and Select Holidays)
  • Parental Leave
