Job Description

We are sharing a specialised full-time W-2 opportunity for experienced software engineers with strong backgrounds in SaaS product development, integrations architecture, real-time analytics, and AI-native platform engineering.

This role supports an exciting opportunity through Cincinnatus LLC, an enterprise staffing company that partners with leading technology companies to place highly skilled professionals into full-time and long-term contingent roles.

Selected professionals will help build an AI-native platform designed to replace spreadsheet-driven operations with real-time dashboards and agentic workflows. This role is especially well-suited to engineers who can ship end-to-end across backend and frontend systems, build scalable integration layers, and support real-world pilot launches with strong technical execution, product judgment, and fast iteration.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

AI-Native Platform Development
Build core platform foundations including entities, workflows, permissions, and multi-tenant architecture
Ship production-ready features across backend and frontend systems
Help design and deliver an AI-native product experience that supports operational workflows at scale

Integrations & Agentic Architecture
Design and implement a scalable integrations framework connecting to common tools through event ingestion, sync workflows, and actions
Build omni-tool integration layers that handle OAuth2, webhooks, pagination, rate limiting, and sync semantics
Architect an agentic tool-use layer compatible with MCP-style patterns, including tool registry, permissions, runtime, and observability

Analytics, Launch Support & Engineering Quality
Build real-time analytics dashboards with live metrics, drill-downs, and export functionality
Support pilot launch execution through hands-on shipping, debugging, and iteration with real users
Establish strong engineering hygiene including testing, observability, and on-call readiness for production rollout

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:
Strong practical software engineering skills with the ability to ship end-to-end and unblock themselves independently
Experience building SaaS products with APIs, data models, and production constraints
Deep comfort with integrations including OAuth2, webhooks, API pagination, rate limiting, and sync semantics
Familiarity with MCP-style tool interfaces and/or experience building tool servers
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders
Strong product judgment and comfort iterating quickly and pragmatically

Preferred qualifications

Experience building AI-native or workflow automation platforms
Experience with real-time analytics surfaces and operational dashboard design
Strong familiarity with observability, production readiness, and technical launch support
Effective use of AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT with strong engineering judgment around tests, interfaces, and guardrails
