We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join a cross-functional team operating in the alcoholic beverage industry, specifically within a B2B e-commerce platform that is already active in 40 countries. This client is one of our largest partners, and their role is vital for the transformation and continuous improvement of the business model and the scaling of the application. In this position, you will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the quality and reliability of innovative solutions that drive business success.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs to support business functionality.
- Implement data access using Spring Data and JPA with relational and non-relational databases.
- Utilize messaging queues such as Kafka and RabbitMQ for inter-service communication.
- Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality.
- Ensure application security and performance through best practices.
- Help implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Systems monitoring (e.g., New Relic).
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
- Proficient in CI/CD practices and tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design effective solutions.
