The Role
We are looking for a Head of Marketing to own how ASMALLWORLD grows — from acquiring new members to engaging and retaining loyalty over time.
This is a hands-on role combining strategy and execution. You will define direction, but also build, test, and refine campaigns yourself. The role sits at the core of the business, covering growth, brand, and member engagement.
Responsibilities
You will drive member growth through member communication and engagement, performance marketing, partnerships, and continuous experimentation, with a clear focus on profitably growing membership and services revenues.
You will own the member lifecycle (CRM), shaping how we communicate, from first touch through long-term engagement, improving conversion, retention, and overall member experience.
You will oversee brand and content across all channels, ensuring a consistent, high-quality, and recognisable presence, aligned with our premium positioning.
You will connect all marketing activities — CRM, content, performance, and PR — into one coherent system, while remaining hands-on where needed.
You will reshape how we think about marketing, with experience in and passion for transformation with new tools and processes, and excited to spearhead the impact that AI can bring when used strategically.
Requirements
You bring 6–10+ years of marketing experience, ideally within travel, luxury, lifestyle, or membership-based businesses, and have worked in start-up or scale-up environments.
You are comfortable operating in fast-paced settings, proactive in your approach, and able to adapt quickly as priorities evolve.
You combine strategic thinking with practical execution and have a strong sense for what resonates with a premium, international audience.
You are strategic, analytical, and results-focused - and passionate about driving growth.
You know the experience you bring to the table, but are also comfortable ‘rolling up your sleeves’ to jump in to execute to support the team - and are excited to build something incredible.
You are proud to be a team player and believe business success is achieved through a high-performing team.
You are comfortable using the latest marketing tools (especially Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
You have experience leveraging transformational/disruptive technology to drive commercial results via customer/member engagement.
