Senior Systems Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Systems Architect to design and lead scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures across complex, enterprise-level solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to align architecture with business and product goals.

Requirements 

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong architecture experience
• Proven track record of designing complex, scalable systems
• Strong knowledge of system design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of security, performance optimization, and system reliability
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills

Nice-to-haves 

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in enterprise integrations or legacy system modernization
• Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, fintech, etc.)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Core Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end system architecture for complex, distributed applications
• Define architectural standards, best practices, and technology strategies
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with requirements
• Lead technical decision-making and guide development teams
• Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and reliability
• Oversee integration of multiple systems, services, and third-party platforms
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks and technical debt
• Support cloud architecture design and optimization
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code/design reviews
