At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Architect to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transformative, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview:

As a System Architect, you will translate high-level architectural direction into scalable and maintainable software designs. You will guide the engineering team to deliver high-quality, observable, and testable code, ensuring alignment with both product and architectural goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution & Vision: Craft and maintain C4 diagrams, technical roadmaps, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) in a CQRS + Clean Architecture microservices ecosystem.
• Technical Leadership: Drive decision-making through collaborative sessions and proofs-of-concept; champion CQRS and event-driven architecture (Azure Service Bus).
• Backlog & Planning: Collaborate with Product Owners to decompose, estimate, and prepare stories for technical readiness across multiple microservices.
• Code & Quality Gates: Define coding standards for C# (.NET 9) and Angular; review pull requests focusing on readability, layering, and test coverage.
• CI/CD & Platform Modernization: Own and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines; manage deployments using Bicep (IaC).
• Observability & Resilience: Define dashboards and SLIs with Azure Application Insights; implement tracing with OpenTelemetry.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer: Coach team members in distributed systems design and foster a culture of engineering excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must-have Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, .NET 8/9)
• Experience designing microservices with CQRS and event-driven architecture (Azure Service Bus)
• Strong skills in Azure SQL, Entity Framework Core, and data access patterns
• Proficiency with Docker and Azure Container Apps (or Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps YAML) and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep)
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, and secure authentication (Azure Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC)

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Exposure to Angular and modern frontend architecture.
• Experience with performance tuning, cost optimization, or SLO/SLA definition.
• Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) and architecture runway planning.
• Hands-on with observability stacks (Application Insights, OpenTelemetry).
