Position: Data Analyst
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$90/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and the central analytics team to gather data and metrics requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analysis using Tableau to enable data-driven decisions.
• Build and optimize ETL processes to run marketing campaigns at scale and automate campaign reporting.
• Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables.
• Partner with analytics and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and rectify data integrity and accuracy issues across reporting, data infrastructure, and dashboards.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• BA or BS degree in a STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience building and operating distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets from multiple sources.
• Experience in ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau, MicroStrategy) and report automation.
• Experience using Python and R.
• Self-starter with flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations.
• Experience working in organizations with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working independently with a track record of taking initiative.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication.

Preferred

• Proven record of building large-scale data pipelines capable of handling millions of rows.
• Ability to guide teams on best practices for building pipelines.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently.
• Experience managing projects and setting expectations.
• Background in large tech companies or similar environments with big data scale.

Compensation & Legal
