Remote | ASD Support Specialist — $25/hour

Job Description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for graduate-level trainees and early-career professionals with hands-on experience supporting children or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in clinical, school, therapeutic, or family support settings.

This role supports the onboarding of qualified professionals with direct ASD experience and relevant graduate-level training or professional certification, particularly those with exposure to structured developmental, behavioral, educational, or therapeutic support environments.

Selected professionals will contribute hands-on support, structured observation, individualized plan implementation, and communication across ASD-related care or support settings. We are looking to onboard selected candidates by early this week.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

ASD Support & Direct Service
Support children or adolescents with ASD in structured settings, including clinical, educational, or home-based environments depending on project scope
Apply evidence-based strategies for ASD intervention
Assist with developmental, behavioral, and therapeutic support needs in day-to-day practice

Plan Implementation & Documentation
Assist in implementing individualized plans such as IEPs, therapy plans, or behavior intervention plans
Document observations and provide structured feedback
Maintain clear, organized, and accurate reporting across assigned work

Collaboration & Family Support
Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, or multidisciplinary teams
Support families with guidance and structured communication when applicable
Contribute to coordinated support efforts across professional and family-facing settings

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:
Direct experience working with children or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Exposure to behavioral, developmental, or therapeutic interventions
Familiarity with IEPs, behavior plans, or structured developmental goals
One or more relevant credentials completed or in progress, such as Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, School Psychology, Social Work, BCaBA training, RBT training, or similar supervised pathways
Strong communication, documentation, and observational skills
Current location in NY State, NYC, NJ State, or CT only

Preferred qualifications

Experience in pediatric or early childhood settings
Familiarity with ABA principles
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Experience working with families of children with ASD

Contract Details

Independent contractor role
Fully remote with flexible scheduling
Hourly compensation of $25 per hour
Candidates must be located in NY State, NYC, NJ State, or CT only
We are looking to onboard selected candidates by early this week
Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance
Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
