Job Description
As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our software products. You will be responsible for managing onboarding data, daily testing of application flows, identifying and reporting bugs before they reach our clients, and collaborating closely with engineering teams. Your keen eye for detail and expertise in SaaS and mobile applications will ensure our products are functioning as expected and meet our quality benchmarks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Data collection: Obtain information from a variety of sources and systems to verify and analyze
- Daily Testing: Run through application flows on a daily basis to ensure new releases are functioning as intended.
- Bug Identification: Proactively find and document bugs, aiming to catch issues before clients encounter them.
- Issue Tracking: Maintain detailed records of bugs and issues, including steps to reproduce and severity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to understand new features and changes, providing feedback and reporting issues as they arise.
- Embedded QA: Be embedded in the release and QA process, offering both a quality assurance perspective and technical insights.
- Expertise Utilization: Apply your knowledge and expertise in SaaS and mobile applications to identify potential issues and improvements.
- Issue Resolution: Use your strong sense of issues to facilitate quick resolution and ensure smooth product performance.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role, with a track record of successfully identifying and resolving bugs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing SaaS and mobile applications, with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of software development.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with a keen ability to identify inconsistencies and potential issues.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively report findings and work with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently, often with minimal supervision.
- Ownership: A sense of ownership over the QA process and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
