Senior Brand Designer

Job Description

As the Senior Brand Designer you will be responsible for leading the visual development of brand identities and websites from concept to near‑final execution, working closely with the founder/Creative Director to deliver high‑quality design work for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop brand identity systems, including visual concepts, logos/marks, typography, color palettes, and layout frameworks.
• Design marketing and product websites and landing pages in Figma, from initial structure through polished UI.
• Create clear, visually compelling presentation and client decks to communicate concepts, directions, and final design work.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director to interpret briefs, refine directions, and ensure all work meets the expected quality standards.
• Manage your own project workload and timelines so that initial design rounds are client‑ready without requiring complete rework.
• Prepare and organize design assets for development or production, including components, styles, and export‑ready files.
• Join video calls and internal discussions as needed, presenting work and explaining design decisions in clear English.
• Partner with motion or other specialists where deeper expertise is required for specific deliverables.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in brand and digital design within agencies, studios, or comparable freelance/consulting environments.
• A portfolio that clearly demonstrates ownership of brand identity and web/UI projects, with a strong sense of craft and visual quality.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Illustrator and Photoshop).
• Fluent or advanced spoken and written English, with the ability to participate fully in calls and async communication.
• Proven experience working directly with creative leads or clients, incorporating feedback, and iterating efficiently.
• Ability to work a stable 40‑hour week aligned with broadly overlapping business hours in the United States.
• Reliable remote working setup, including an up‑to‑date computer and internet connection.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience creating simple motion assets or animations in tools such as After Effects or similar.
• Prior work with international brands or distributed teams.
• Familiarity with AI‑adjacent tools used for image generation, mockups, or creative exploration.
