Job Role: Full Stack Developer

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a growing Australian financial services company focused on helping mortgage brokers unlock the value of their recurring commission income to access capital for business growth, acquisitions, and expansion.

As they continue to scale, the company is investing in modern technology and digital platforms to create a faster, more seamless lending experience for brokers. This role will play a key part in building the platform that powers that vision.

Role Overview: We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain a secure, user-friendly lending platform. You’ll work across front-end and back-end using Next.js, implement Auth0 authentication, ensure scalability on AWS, and collaborate closely with the team to shape a high-quality platform.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the full development lifecycle of a secure, reliable, and user-friendly platform
• Build and maintain a full-stack lending platform for borrowers, brokers, and admins using Next.js
• Develop a clean, secure front end and a robust backend/database layer
• Implement authentication and authorization with Auth0
• Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and reliable on AWS
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code) to speed up development
• Handle administrative tasks (~20%), such as managing loan documents and operational processes

Requirements

• Mid-senior level Full Stack Developer experience
• Experience with Next.js for building web applications
• Ability to develop a clean, secure front end and a robust backend/database layer
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization (preferably with Auth0)
• Knowledge of AWS and deploying secure, scalable, and reliable platforms
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code) to accelerate development
• Comfortable handling administrative tasks such as managing loan documents and operational processes
