Job Role: Digital Marketing Account Manager

Compensation range: $2500 - $3500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: This role suits a confident, client-facing marketing professional who enjoys ownership, strategic thinking, and direct communication with business owners. We’re specifically looking for strong experience in Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) with skills in creative thinking, audience strategy, offer positioning, funnel awareness, performance interpretation, and confident client communication.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage end-to-end Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook & Instagram) for multiple clients.
  • Communicate regularly with clients via calls and video meetings to provide updates and insights.
  • Present campaign performance reports and strategic recommendations in a clear, client-friendly way.
    Own the campaign direction, including audience targeting, creative concepts, and offer positioning.
  • Coordinate with the creative team to produce ad assets, perform quality checks, and ensure messaging aligns with client goals.
  • Update basic website content and campaign landing pages as needed.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports, including short video summaries explaining results and recommendations.
  • Analyze campaign data to identify opportunities for optimization and improved ROI.
  • Make confident recommendations to clients, guiding campaign strategy and next steps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experienced in Meta Ads management (Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads) – essential.
  • Comfortable communicating strategy to clients clearly and confidently.
  • Skilled in using marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel).
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio / Looker Studio, Canva, Excel/Sheets).
  • Basic knowledge of website content management platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Shopify).
  • Strong in relationship management.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and self-directed.
  • Comfortable leading calls and meetings.
  • Not afraid to make recommendations and guide campaign direction.
