Sales Manager 

Location: Remote (United States)
Travel: Approximately 60% overnight travel

Role Overview

Responsible for driving sales growth across North America within the medical device packaging sector. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and expanding sales of capital equipment used in medical device packaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue in the medical device packaging market.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with medical device manufacturers.
  • Promote and sell packaging machinery and related capital equipment.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and industry partners.
  • Travel extensively to meet clients, attend industry events, and support sales activities.
  • Achieve annual revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years of capital equipment sales experience in the medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of medical device packaging and regulatory requirements.
  • Selling packaging machinery or related equipment into the medical device sector.
  • Proven track record in business development and sales growth.
  • Ability to travel extensively and manage a territory independently.

Territory

  • National role covering the United States.
  • Ideal locations include New Jersey, Chicago, Tennessee, or Missouri, but candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000.
  • Base increases to $100,000 – $110,000 after generating $6.5M in annual sales, depending on starting salary.
  • Commission: 1% – 1.5% on specific product sales.
