Remote Senior Electrical Engineer/ Data Centers, BESS & Power Systems

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong experience in mission-critical power systems to support the design and development of advanced infrastructure projects, including data centers, generator plants, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

This role involves working closely with U.S.-based engineering teams on the design and integration of complex electrical systems that ensure high reliability, redundancy, and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support electrical power systems for data center infrastructure, including medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
• Support the integration of large generator plants used for backup power in mission-critical environments.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including battery systems, inverters, and energy management systems.
• Coordinate electrical system layouts and equipment integration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and coordination meetings with U.S.-based teams.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering degree
• 8+ years of professional experience
• Proven experience working on data center electrical infrastructure
• Experience with backup power systems and generator integration
• Exposure to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or large-scale energy storage projects
• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, and protection systems
• Previous experience working on U.S.-based engineering projects is highly valued
• Fluent English communication skills
