Bring mapping and geospatial data to life on mobile!

Were looking for a Senior Mobile Application Developer who can lead Android and iOS development while staying hands-on in building high-quality apps. Experience with spatial and mapping projects is a big plus. You'll help shape architecture, implement key features, and create high-performance, user-friendly mobile experiences that turn complex data into intuitive, interactive tools. Collaborate closely with product and design teams, contribute across the full development lifecycle, and stay ahead of platform trends.

What are you expected to do?

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS using Kotlin, Java, and Swift.
• Build modern, intuitive UIs with Jetpack Compose, XML, SwiftUI, and UIKit, applying Material Design and platform-specific best practices.
• Integrate native frameworks and services, including Android Jetpack components, Coroutines, Dagger/Hilt, MapKit, CoreLocation, and third-party SDKs.
  
• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and background task handling across platforms.
• Implement unit, UI, and integration tests, contributing to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
  
• Scope, develop, and deliver minor enhancements and major feature releases, ensuring feature parity and consistent UX across Android and iOS.
• Collaborate on architecture, tooling, and best practices to maintain scalable, maintainable, and efficient mobile applications.

You’ll be a great fit if:

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Android development with Kotlin and iOS development with Swift, including UIKit and SwiftUI, contributing across the full development lifecycle.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Dagger/Hilt, LiveData, ViewModel and iOS frameworks including Core Data, MapKit, CoreLocation, SwiftUI, as well as offline-first architectures, backend integrations (REST/GraphQL), real-time data handling, and spatial/mapping technologies.
• UI/UX & Design: Strong understanding of responsive layouts, Material Design (Android), Apple Human Interface Guidelines (iOS), and best practices for consistent, intuitive user experiences.
• Testing & Quality: Skilled in unit, UI, integration, API, and end-to-end testing, with experience building automated test suites to ensure reliability across platforms.
• Architecture & Code Design: Proficient in MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVC, and designing scalable, maintainable, and modular code for cross-platform mobile applications.
• Collaboration & Process: Experienced in Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers; strong Git/version control skills; excellent problem-solving and communication.
• Education: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.
