Ordermesh

Platform Engineer (SRE) - Serbia

  • Ordermesh

Job Description

About us

OrderMesh is the operating system for modern print-on-demand fulfillment.

We build intelligent order orchestration software that sits at the center of a complex global supply chain — connecting brands, marketplaces, and producers through a single platform. We replace the fragmented legacy systems that the industry has outgrown, with modern, API-first software built for today's scale and speed.

OrderMesh is part of Taylor Corporation, a multi-billion-dollar global leader in print, manufacturing, and technology-enabled services — operating one of the largest production footprints in the world, serving enterprise customers across retail, ecommerce, and beyond.

The best of both worlds — and we mean it.

Most companies say "startup energy with enterprise backing." Few actually deliver it. At OrderMesh, the combination is real:

  • Startup ownership: Small, high-trust teams. Real autonomy over architecture. A direct line between what you build and how it performs in production.
  • Enterprise foundation: Long-term financial stability, SOC 2 compliance, access to global-scale production environments, and deep domain expertise in manufacturing, logistics, and supply chains.

Why now?

We're at an inflection point. The platform already runs real, live production volume — and we're expanding its capabilities, building out new infrastructure, and actively shaping how an entire industry operates. The decisions you make here — technical, architectural, product-driven — will have lasting impact.

This isn't a role where you maintain someone else's roadmap. You'll be building serious software, solving meaningful real-world problems, and doing it with the backing of a world-class organization.

If that's the kind of work you're looking for, OrderMesh is a rare opportunity.

About the Role

  • Own and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure), containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Write clean scripts (Python, Golang, Bash, PowerShell) and build automation that reduces manual toil across Engineering and Ops
  • Design and maintain n8n-based workflows connecting tools like GitHub, Jira, Slack, and Datadog with retries, alerting, and runbooks
  • Leverage AI integrations (MCP or equivalent) for incident summarization, ticket enrichment, and runbook-guided remediation
  • Partner with QA and Engineering to strengthen automated testing foundations, ephemeral environments, and CI/CD test visibility
  • Handle internal support tickets and translate technical solutions into clear, non-technical communication
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Ops, and QA teams to align on deployment workflows, platform improvements, and release processes
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, ensuring availability and rapid resolution when systems require urgent attention

Requirements

  • Experienced in eCommerce, SaaS, or high-transaction environments, comfortable navigating ambiguity in startup or growth-phase companies
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go, PowerShell) with proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also valuable)
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in C#, Node.js, or TypeScript with solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend system design
  • Proven ability to build production-grade workflow automations (n8n strongly preferred), including webhooks, API integrations, and automated flow maintenance
  • Familiar with QA automation concepts (test pyramids, flaky test reduction, CI signal quality) and experienced collaborating with QA/SDET teams
  • Working knowledge of MCP or similar AI-to-tooling integration patterns in secure, controlled environments
  • Excellent communicator, able to translate complex technical topics for non-technical audiences, and able to manage multiple priorities independently across departments
  • Flexible availability to work between 5:00 AM – 9:00 PM local time as needed

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes (k8s)
  • Experience implementing monitoring and observability systems (Grafana preferred)
  • Strong familiarity with DevOps culture, SRE principles, and incident management workflows
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and collaborating on process documentation
  • Previous leadership experience or mentorship of other engineers (strong plus)
  • Experience in B2B tech or platforms that support product catalogs, inventory, or transactional workflows
