Job Role: Senior Full Stack Developer 

Compensation range: $2500 - $3000 AUD Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: The client is a Brisbane-based growing fintech startup focused on providing innovative financial coaching solutions. The platform aims to empower users with the knowledge and tools needed to manage their finances effectively.

Role Overview: As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining a mature platform while collaborating with a team of developers. This is a hands-on position that requires both backend and frontend expertise to deliver high-quality, user-friendly features that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust web applications using a modern technology stack.

• Collaborate with existing developers to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and integration of new features.

• Contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance.

• Implement frontend designs and ensure seamless user experiences across devices.

• Utilize AI tools to support and enhance development processes and product features.

• Manage development backlog and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.

• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to less experienced developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.

• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.

• Solid backend development skills, with experience in languages like Python, Ruby, Java, or Node.js.

• Familiarity with database management systems (SQL/NoSQL) and API design.

• Strong understanding of modern development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.

• Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality work on time.

• Experience with AI tools and incorporating them into development workflows.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with financial applications or services.

• Experience in UI/UX design principles and methodologies.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Previous experience in an independent contractor or startup environment.
