We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to build and ship autonomous AI agents in production for a large-scale SaaS platform managing rental operations, inventory, and financial workflows.

This is not a chatbot role. You will design production-grade agents that automate real business decisions such as revenue forecasting, asset utilization, depot balancing, and accounts receivable workflows.

You will work in an AI-first development environment where tools like Anthropic Claude and OpenAI generate a significant portion of the code. Engineers act as architects who design systems, validate AI-generated code, and ensure production reliability.

This is a high-ownership role within a small, fast-moving engineering team focused on building and shipping real systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents in Python for production systems
• Translate business problems into reliable AI-driven decision systems
• Integrate machine learning models (scikit-learn) into backend workflows
• Build structured agent workflows interacting with internal APIs and distributed systems
• Work within an AI-assisted development workflow using Claude and OpenAI
• Validate and refine AI-generated code to ensure reliability and maintainability

Desired Profile

Must-Have Technical Experience

• Strong Python skills with real experience shipping systems to production
• Proven experience building and deploying AI agents or autonomous decision systems, not just experimental prototypes
• Experience integrating ML models into backend systems
• Knowledge of classical ML concepts
• Comfort working with scikit-learn models integrated into production systems is expected.

AI-Assisted Development

We operate with an AI-assisted SDLC, where Claude generates much of the code and engineers act as system architects.

Ideal candidates:

• Use LLMs as coding collaborators
• Are comfortable designing systems while AI assists with implementation
• Have experience reviewing, correcting, and productionizing AI-generated code

Soft Skills

• Strong ownership and architectural thinking
• Comfortable working in fast-moving engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Product-oriented mindset focused on real business outcomes

Additional Requirements

• Advanced English (C1 or higher) required
• Must be comfortable working directly with U.S. clients in meetings and technical discussions
• Experience working with distributed teams
