Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner with over 10 years of experience in HR, Payroll Processing domains. The ideal candidate will combine strong product leadership, deep domain expertise, and the ability to drive complex, large-scale product initiatives from concept to delivery. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Product Strategy and Roadmap

- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.

- Analyze market trends, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape to shape product direction.

- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within Payroll domain.

Backlog Management and Execution

- Translate product strategy into detailed feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Prioritize and groom the product backlog to maximize value delivery.

- Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, and architecture teams to ensure high-quality product releases.

Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and product or engineering teams.

- Communicate product plans, progress, and risks clearly and effectively.

- Partner with compliance, security, and operations teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.

Delivery and Performance

- Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and ideation to launch and post-release optimization.

- Track KPIs, product performance, and customer feedback to drive data-driven decision making.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-impact features and continuous enhancement of the product experience.

Leadership and Collaboration

- Mentor junior product managers and contribute to building a strong product culture.

- Champion agile practices and foster a collaborative working environment.

- Drive a customer-first mindset across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in HR or Payroll Services.
  • Strong understanding of workflows such as payments, payroll processing, compliance, tax calculations.
  • Proven experience in delivering enterprise-grade digital products.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance frameworks in financial domains.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms.
  • Exposure to data analytics or payroll technology platforms.
  • Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, PMP, or SAFe Product Owner or Product Manager.
