Full Job Description :

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

AI Strategy & Implementation

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered automation systems using Claude, OpenAI, and other LLM APIs to streamline operations across REDs five markets (Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, Turks & Caicos, Key West, and Florida Keys).

• Develop and refine prompt engineering frameworks, system prompts, and validation layers to ensure AI output reliability across customer communications, compliance documentation, and operational reporting.

• Stay current with rapidly evolving AI tools, frameworks, and best practices; proactively identify and test new technologies that can improve REDs operations, revenue, and guest experience.

• Build agentic AI workflows where appropriate, enabling systems to monitor data, flag anomalies, draft communications, and escalate issues with minimal human intervention.

Workflow Automation & Process Optimization

• Design and deploy automated workflows using Zapier, Make.com, n8n, Python, and REST APIs to eliminate manual processes across booking, operations, compliance, and customer service functions.

• Digitize and automate vessel inspection checklists, safety compliance logs, and operational reporting — transitioning the fleet from paper-based systems to structured digital workflows.

• Build and maintain databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, Airtable) to centralize operational data and enable queryable, real-time access to fleet and business performance metrics.

• Create executive dashboards and reporting pipelines that provide leadership with immediate visibility into business performance across all markets.

Technology Infrastructure & Support

• Serve as REDs primary technology resource, managing Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 administration including user accounts, permissions, email groups, security controls, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
• Provide responsive technical support to team members across all markets, including remote troubleshooting for staff operating in locations with limited connectivity.

• Manage CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce) and ensure clean data flow between booking platforms, customer databases, and operational tools.

• Evaluate, recommend, and implement software tools and platforms that improve efficiency, with a focus on cost-effective solutions appropriate for REDs scale.

Web Development & Vendor Management

• Oversee and manage REDs web development team and/or outsourced development contractors, including setting priorities, reviewing deliverables, conducting code reviews, and holding vendors accountable to timelines and quality standards.

• Determine build-vs-buy decisions for technology needs, balancing in-housedevelopment, no-code/low-code tools, and third-party solutions
