Job Description

Position: Digital Marketing Specialist / Performance Marketing Lead

Salary: up to AUD 2,000

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays; flexible (with 2-3 hours overlap with AEST)

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a high-level Digital Marketing Specialist / Performance Marketing Lead with a strong agency background who understands both strategy and execution.

This individual will act as the Founder’s right hand, overseeing client deliverables, managing cross-functional teams, improving systems, and ensuring quality control across multiple accounts.

You do not need to be the primary strategist, but you must understand marketing strategy deeply enough to manage output quality, positioning, messaging, and campaign performance at a high level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Client & Deliverables Oversight

  • Oversee execution of client campaigns across multiple accounts
  • Maintain high standards of quality control across content, funnels, paid ads, and CRM systems
  • Ensure deliverables align with client strategy and positioning
  • Monitor reporting metrics and performance indicators

Agency Operations & Team Coordination

  • Manage cross-functional teams (editors, designers, media buyers, CRM developers, etc.)
  • Coordinate workflow and timelines using project management systems (ClickUp or similar)
  • Ensure project flow remains organised, efficient, and deadline-driven
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements

Performance & Systems Management

  • Maintain awareness of Meta Ads performance, lead generation funnels, and reporting dashboards
  • Support GoHighLevel operations, automation, and CRM systems
  • Improve internal systems, documentation, and execution frameworks
  • Increase operational efficiency across departments

Leadership Support

  • Reduce founder involvement in day-to-day delivery management
  • Take ownership of operational decisions within defined parameters
  • Support agency positioning and scalability initiatives
  • Contribute to long-term operational growth strategy

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Experience

  • At least 2 years experience working within a marketing agency environment
  • Hands-on familiarity with GoHighLevel
  • Experience in performance marketing (Meta ads, lead generation, reporting metrics)
  • Strong experience using project management systems (ClickUp or similar)
  • Experience managing multiple active client accounts simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, messaging, and campaign structure
