Marketing Manager (Membership Growth & Engagement)

  • Hire Overseas

Job Description

We’re looking for a systems-minded, execution-focused Marketing Manager to own membership growth and engagement for a private golf and social club.

This is not a traditional brand-only marketing role. You will manage the full lifecycle of a prospective and new member, from initial inquiry to long-term engagement. You will own the inbound pipeline, digital communication systems, follow-up workflows, and content strategy that drives both new memberships and higher satisfaction among existing members.

You will work closely with on-site staff while owning the digital infrastructure, automation, reporting, and messaging that keep the membership engine running smoothly.

If you think in systems, close loops consistently, and prefer building structured processes rather than reacting to chaos, this role is a strong fit.

Why You’ll Want to Join

  • You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)
  • Up to 14 days of Paid Time Off annually (starting Day 1)
  • Observance of Holidays per company guidelines
  • 100% remote setup so you can work wherever you feel productive
  • High-visibility role with direct executive exposure
  • Ownership over membership growth and lifecycle systems
  • Opportunity to modernize marketing operations inside an established organization

What You’ll Work On

Lead Orchestration and Closing

  • Own the inbound membership pipeline from schools, referrals, community programs, and local partners
  • Manage direct communication with prospective members
  • Implement structured follow-up workflows to increase conversion rates
  • Coordinate with on-site staff to ensure tours and touchpoints are executed properly
  • Track and report on lead status and closing performance

Membership Lifecycle Design

  • Design and execute a structured first-year member journey
  • Improve onboarding materials and engagement processes
  • Ensure every new member receives consistent communication and orientation
  • Monitor engagement data to identify early retention risks

Systems and Software Ownership

  • Rapidly master internal membership and club management software
  • Serve as the internal super user for membership data and communication systems
  • Maintain data integrity across platforms
  • Build automation workflows to reduce manual follow-up

AI-Driven Content and Communication

  • Use AI tools to create newsletters, social posts, and member updates
  • Balance acquisition content with community engagement messaging
  • Maintain a premium and consistent brand voice
  • Track performance of communication efforts

Operational Sync and Reporting

  • Implement structured processes to coordinate with on-site staff
  • Track tours, member feedback, and engagement metrics
  • Analyze usage and satisfaction data to recommend improvements
  • Provide leadership with structured reporting and insights

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or Growth roles
  • Experience in recurring revenue environments such as membership or subscription models
  • Strong process design and workflow automation skills
  • Advanced written communication skills
  • Comfort managing CRM or membership software systems
  • High level of autonomy and accountability
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action

Nice to Have

  • Experience in private clubs, hospitality, or service-based organizations
  • Familiarity with membership or POS management systems
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership
  • Background in lifecycle marketing or retention strategy

How to Apply

Please include:

  1. Your updated resume
  2. A short 1 to 2 minute Loom video explaining a membership or recurring revenue system you built or improved and the measurable impact it had

Only complete applications with a Loom video will be considered.

If you are structured, data-driven, and capable of building a disciplined membership engine from inquiry to retention, this role offers executive visibility and direct ownership over growth and engagement.
