Job Description

THIS IS IT. The Role You've Been Waiting For.

Imagine being the single source of truth for an entire organization's financial operations. The person everyone trusts. The one who brings order to chaos and clarity to complexity.

We're talking about directly controlling the flow of money, ensuring every dollar is accounted for, and becoming absolutely indispensable to a fast-growing, high-performing company. This is not just a job; it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to supercharge your career and become the backbone of a thriving operation.

Our client is a rapidly scaling company with ambitious growth targets and a leadership team that values precision, efficiency, and operational excellence. They're at a pivotal moment where having one exceptional person in this role will transform their entire financial infrastructure.

Now, they need you to step in and own the financial operations that directly impact the company's ability to scale. This is your chance to join a dynamic team at a critical growth moment, making decisions that matter and building systems that work.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Become the financial gatekeeper: Take full ownership of all payroll processing, contractor payments, vendor invoices, expense reports, and client invoicing — ensuring every transaction is accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Eliminate the chaos: Your mission is to centralize financial information that currently lives in multiple people's heads and scattered systems. You'll create the single source of truth that removes confusion, prevents errors, and gives leadership complete visibility into cash flow.
  • Drive accuracy and consistency: Process payments with precision, maintain meticulous records, and ensure zero errors across all financial operations. Your attention to detail keeps the entire company running smoothly.
  • Master the systems: Own and maintain the Quickbooks Online system, the 2026 Projections workbook, and the Finance drive — ensuring everything stays updated, reconciled, and audit-ready.
  • Collaborate with leadership: Work directly with key stakeholders to understand cash flow needs, provide financial insights, and help shape strategic decisions through accurate reporting.

What We Are Looking For

You are an exceptionally detail-oriented professional who thrives when taking chaos and transforming it into organized, transparent systems.

You have:

  • Proven experience managing full accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense processing.
  • Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or equivalent accounting software), and strong Excel/spreadsheet skills for financial tracking and reconciliation.
  • Advanced organizational abilities with the discipline to manage multiple payment processes simultaneously while maintaining zero-error standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills — you can translate financial information clearly for non-finance stakeholders and work collaboratively across departments.
  • A systems-focused mindset — you naturally identify inefficiencies and design processes that prevent problems before they happen.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of complex responsibilities without constant supervision.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.

Why This Role Is Different

  • Massive Impact: You won't just process payments; you'll completely transform how the organization manages its financial operations, directly enabling company growth.
  • True Ownership: This role reports directly to leadership. Your decisions matter, your improvements are implemented, and your work is immediately valued.
  • Career Acceleration: You'll gain deep experience across all accounting functions while building systems that scale with the company. This is premium professional development.
  • Strategic Influence: You'll sit at the table where financial decisions are made, influencing budgets, cash flow strategy, and operational improvements.
  • A Company That Gets It: Leadership recognizes that having one exceptional person in this role changes everything. You'll be treated as the essential asset you are.
