Email Marketing Specialist

Job Description

VirtueStaff is seeking a detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist for our client. This role focuses purely on the technical execution and deployment of email marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for the "build-out" phase of the process, taking existing designs and strategies and transforming them into functional, high-performing email campaigns. This is an ideal position for a specialist who excels in the technical setup and management of newsletters and automated sequences.

Responsibilities

• Build out and configure email campaigns within various marketing platforms, ensuring all technical settings are accurate
• Regularly assemble and schedule newsletters, ensuring all links, tags, and formatting are correctly implemented
• Navigate and operate within multiple email service providers (ESPs) to deploy client content
• Test all emails for rendering issues, broken links, and proper segmentation before final deployment
• Oversee the final send of one-off campaigns and the activation of automated email workflows

Requirements

• Proven experience in the technical setup of email campaigns and newsletters
• Previous professional experience within the Marketing industry
• Strong writing and editing abilities to ensure copy integrity during the build-out process
• Ability to follow creative briefs and strategic plans without requiring involvement in the design or high-level strategy phases
• Demonstrated experience using one or more of the following platforms: Mailchimp, HubSpot, GoHighLevel (GHL), Pipedrive
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate new email marketing and CRM tools as required by different clients
